ABOUT LIZ

Hello! My name is Liz, and I have been living in Houston since 2007. I have owned animals my entire life, and have been professionally working with animals since 2014 as a Kennel Technician, Receptionist, certified Groomer Assistant, and Daycare Attendant at pet resorts in Houston. I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant and Groomer at a rescue in North Houston and I have also worked as a Pet Nutrition Consultant at a local pet boutique. I volunteer my time at local shelters by photographing animals, walking dogs, and fostering when I can. I have fostered over 22 animals since 2013- all have been priceless, emotional experiences. I am extremely passionate about helping Houston's homeless pets, and educating others about the stray epidemic we have here in Houston. I have 5 pets living with me now. A Chow/Eurasier rescue that I fostered for a year before ultimately “foster failing” and adopting in December 2023, 3 cats that I rescued in 2013-2014, and beautiful foster cat who is currently looking for her fur-ever home! I had a Bichon Frise from 2005 to 2023, he was my childhood dog and passed at 18 years and 3 months old.

I began my pet-sitting business in January 2017 and am committed to ensuring that my animal care expertise is brought to the homes of my clients. I am insured and bonded through Pet Care Insurance. Maintaining a high level of trust with each and every one of my clients is my top priority- I understand as a pet parent just how important it is to have a responsible and reliable caregiver watching your pets and home. I am meticulously attentive to detail and sensitive to your needs when it comes to your animals- your pets’ safety and well-being is my number one priority. I look forward to meeting you and becoming your pet’s new friend!

If you’re looking for a great dog sitter, Liz is who you need. If you love and adore your furbabies like we do, you only want the best. She is very flexible, kind, polite, and professional. She is quite thorough and always sends us adorable pictures and updates. It’s always stressful leaving your furry kiddos with strangers, but we quickly learned Liz is amazing and amazing with them. With two crazy cats and two 75-80 pound German Shepherds, our house is crazy; she’s never skipped a beat and is always on top of it. She’s such a hard worker as well. Give her a shot; you won’t regret it.
