ABOUT LIZ

Hi, I’m Liz, the owner of Liz’s Pet Care Services. Since 2014, I have worked professionally with animals in pet resorts, grooming departments, daycare environments, and rescue settings throughout Houston. In 2017, I founded my pet-sitting business to offer experienced, highly personalized care for pets in the comfort of their own homes.

My background includes roles as a kennel technician, receptionist, certified groomer assistant, daycare attendant, and kennel/grooming team member at a North Houston rescue. This experience has allowed me to care for pets of many breeds, ages, temperaments, and needs, including seniors, rescues, shy pets, reactive pets, and animals with detailed routines or medical requirements.

I am deeply involved in rescue and shelter work. Since 2013, I have fostered more than 22 animals and have volunteered my time photographing adoptable pets, walking shelter dogs, and supporting Houston’s homeless animal community whenever possible.

As a lifelong pet owner and rescue pet parent, I understand the level of trust required to invite someone into your home and place your pets in their care. My approach is calm, attentive, detail-oriented, and centered around each pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being.

Liz’s Pet Care Services is insured through Pet Care Insurance. My goal is to provide reliable, professional care that allows you to travel with confidence, knowing your pets and home are in capable, compassionate hands.

If you’re looking for a great dog sitter, Liz is who you need. If you love and adore your furbabies like we do, you only want the best. She is very flexible, kind, polite, and professional. She is quite thorough and always sends us adorable pictures and updates. It’s always stressful leaving your furry kiddos with strangers, but we quickly learned Liz is amazing and amazing with them. With two crazy cats and two 75-80 pound German Shepherds, our house is crazy; she’s never skipped a beat and is always on top of it. She’s such a hard worker as well. Give her a shot; you won’t regret it.
